A Tribute to Louann Miller

As The Denver Hospice's longest-serving volunteer, Louann Miller
is a cornerstone of The Denver Hospice. Since 1978, Louann has
given more than 3,000 hours caring for countless patients and
families in their homes and at our care center.

 The inspiration for the Heart of Hospice honor presented by her
friends at The Denver Hospice comes from Louann's own beliefs
on hospice care:
"The heart of hospice is embracing life.
 It's not about dying and it's not
about giving up hope.
It's about living each day to the fullest."
