Denver mosaic artist Abbas Khajeaian was born in Busher, Iran. His mosaic works have been shown in several exhibits, most recently at Sculpture in the Park in Loveland. His work is influenced by the mosaic heritage of the Middle East. He and his daughter are owners of Kashi Kari Gallery in Denver’s Santa Fe Art District. His “Iranian Tribal Mask” is created with porcelain dishes, ceramic tiles and stained glass and was inspired by the masks worn by Southern Iranian women.
